French Fabric

We have found such beautiful textiles in the Alsace region of France, home of French fabrics.  All the fabrics above are printed in the Alsace region and as you can see red it definately in!  Handprinted hearts on a linen base and featured everywhere here!  Red in my favourite colour, so I am delighted to see so much of it everywhere!

We have giving away two gorgeous Alsace fabric pieces (shown in the bottom photo).  Each piece of French Toile is approx. 30cm x 40cm and is unique to the French Alsace region.

If you would like to win these two lovely pieces please leave a comment on our blog (you must be a follower to enter - you will find the follow box to the side).

We will draw the winner when we return from our European trip at the end of the month.

I have some lovely French style buttons that have been sitting waiting desperately to be used and they would work wonderfully with the prints gorgeous colourways! Please pick me!!!!

I can't believe I use to live around the corner from your shop, and I didn't even know it was there!!! Now I'm all the way over here in Perth and have to get it all shipped. Oh well. Your trip looks amazing and the fabric is divine, if I were you I would have trouble not bringing it all home with me :)I've always wanted to go back to France, now I know I'll be doing a 'Fabric Tour' when I do.

The hearts on linen reminds me of the fabric of a local designer Thea and Sami - http://theaandsami.blogspot.com/ All her stuff is French inspired and just beautiful. Like this fabric. Just gorgeous!

Tres, tres bien! We have a gorgeous 5 week old girl who we gave a French name to after honeymoon in Les Gets, France, near Alsace in the Haute Savouir. We named her Mirabel, meaning 'Lovely and wondrous' in French. Her nursery is, of course, very French inspired and I would love to sew some curtains and bedding in this fabric - especially the delectable hearts!!!l Lauren
