Amsterdam

I have just finished downloading all our holiday pics and thought I would post a few of Amsterdam, where we stayed on our last night in Europe.
Naturally, I am already planning our next trip in my head!

We visited the markets on our last afternoon, and to our delight, found rolls and rolls of stunning fabrics. Due to lack of time and lack of space, we were unable to bring any home on this trip, but ofcourse, it gives us a fabulous excuse to visit again.

A Quick Trip to Germany

Our few short days in Germany is almost over. Here you can see our hotel which was right near the Frankfurt train station. The station is full of delicious food stands, wonderful bakeries and delightful gift stores.

We had a lovely train journey to the Bavian Forest for New Years, in a lovely little village called
Bayerisch Eisenstein. Cold and rainy but with a little snow left on the ground, we spent the day wondering around, still trying to recover from jet lag.............and yes it is as cold as it looks!

Tonight we popped out for dinner and the cobble stones streets were all lit up with fairy lights and Christmas trees.

Off to Salzburg tomorrow!

Thanks to the lovely girls looking after our store / website whilst we are gone. You have been keeping them very busy! Our store reopens this Monday.
