Last month's Better Homes and Gardens crochet patterns have inspired me to try to learn to crochet to create the wonderful goodies as shown on the front cover. I have not had much luck in the knitting area. I am sure I did master the art of knitting when I was younger, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it now. I keep picking up extra stitches, hence, whatever I attempt to knit just keeps getting wider and wider! Ok if you want to knit a triangle, but not much good for anything else!
Anyway, after some great suggestions from twitter pals, I went agoogling for some tips, instructions and general how to crochet sites.
What I did stumble upon was www.whatnottocrochet.wordpress.com
What a fun site. The photos below are just a taste of the tasteless crochet goodies you will find on this site!
Enjoy! I did! The bottom photo is my particular favourite, a retro flashback and quite scary!

I laughed harder as I saw each picture!! Classic
LMAO!!!!!!! That is hillarious, Im still wondering what on earth the blue and black stripey tube is... are we attempting to keep the dead animals on the wall warm???
Laughing so hard now...thanks for sharing the laughs!!!! :) Why? Why? Why?
Oh my!
Crocheting is much easier than knitting, in my opinion. I used to drop stitches all over the place, and with knitting, there's no going back. With crochet, if you realise you stuff something up, you can easily pull it apart to the stuff up, and just keep going. Good luck!
that bathroom set is beyond scary! my Granny always had a crochet toilet dolly on top of her toilet!
HAHA- I have that Steering wheel cover- thanks to my crazy aunt who has made me several for Christmas presents. Mine is green :D
Nice 'kini. BLAH
Aren't they great ! I just posted some crochet on my blog but nothing like that !
Soooooo funny! Thanks for today's best laugh.
Lol, that's so funny! I'm wondering where I can get a bathroom set like that...I think it's pretty sexy! I can just picture my hubby in amongst it, lol. :) And I MUST have one of those bikinis! I remember my sister crocheting herself a bikini when she was about 14...she thought she was sooooo hot, rofl.

Must be the week for being inspired about Crochet. I only just this week thought the same {and scheduled a blog post lol}.
As for some of those items, definitely not on my to do list!
