Tulips, Amsterdam Markets, January 2010
Thought I would post a few photos from the Amsterdam Markets in January. Unfortuantely we were "stuck" in Paris (what a horrible place to be stuck!!) due to full trains so only had one night in Amsterdam.I was hoping to source some vintage and new fabrics whilst there, but due to time constraints we only had a quick look around, but will hopefully go back soon!
We did get a chance to quickly visit the markets there. As you can see from the photos, there are fabric stalls galore! After 4 weeks treking around Europe, the children were not so enthusiastic, so when I say quick, I mean quick.
Ah so much fabric, so little time..............next time I will plan to stay in Amsterdam for much longer than one night!

oh those tulips! my sister is a sucker for any type of flower but she would die for a bunch of gorgeous tulips :)
Albert cuyp markt is known all over the country. I am happy to have used to live close there. Now i visit much less unfortunately. Great photos!
