Little Bird Pattern Giveaway!

Little Bird Patterns have released an easy to make 6 gored a-line skirt for up to 12 years.

The Alice A-Line is easy to whip up in an afternoon with no zips or buttons and is perfect for the beginner sewer (of someone who likes to makes things in a jiffy).

We have also found in our storeroom, Saffron's first hand printed ranges still on bolts! We forgot all about them, so will list them up on the website in the next few weeks.

Vintage Fabric Garage Sale!

As many of you may know, Funky Fabrix started out as a vintage fabric store. Over time we have been so busy keeping up with Funky Fabrix new fabric division, our vintage fabric has been sadly neglected!

We still have store rooms full of gorgeous vintage fabric, which really deserve a new home. Ofcourse we will not part with it all. We collect vintage Scandinavian textiles, so we will be keeping these plus most of our bolts (for a new project next year) but we would love to find homes for the many pieces we have in our collection.

............so we are having a vintage fabric garage sale! Yes you can come along to Funky Fabrix (Mitchelton, Brisbane) on Saturday afternoon October 9th and Sunday morning October 10 to purchase vintage fabric pieces from our collection.

We would love to have held it sooner, but thanks to our fantastic customers, we have just been too busy to get organised! We have a new staff member starting this week, so that should give us some spare time to unearth all our vintage fabric treasures in time for the sale!

So don't forget pencil in October 9th and 10th in your diary!
