Introducing Ann Kelle

I have a new favourite designer. I was so excited when I discovered Ann Kelle designed fabrics on the Robert Kaufman website.

My son bought me a gorgeous Ann Kelle journal for Christmas and I have been a fan ever since.

I just love the simplicity of her designs and the use of bright, bold colours. Her fabrics remind me of 1970s Scandivian designed Children's fabrics, for which I have a passion. I have many such fabrics in my vintage collection stash. I am not sure what I will do with them, but I just can't part with them.

Guess what we did Father's Day?

Sometimes it takes special days to remind us to take time off, and to spend time with family and friends.
We tend to work 7 days per week with our busy business, but sometimes it pays to sit back and realise what is important.

As you all know, time goes by so quickly, and it doesn't take long for your little ones to become adults themselves, I know I have 3 grown up children plus my little one.

We had a really great day last Sunday, enjoying our family and not working!

It really has made me rethink my work/family priorities, I have to learn to delegate more, and just to relax! So if you see me working on weekends, just give me a little reminder of what I should be doing! Emails can wait til Mondays.....
