Welcome to Funky Fabrix Online!
Welcome to our first post!
Where to begin............we are so busy at the moment, only one month til we open our new Brisbane store!
Yesterday 10 large parcels arrived from overseas, all full of wonderful goodies.
Fabrics, vintage fabrics, patterns, and some of the cutest zip purses and clutch bags I have ever seen. Ofcourse my two girls are begging to keep some for themselves! They are made by The Dainty Squid and are just lovely. I am sure they will be a huge hit.
I have also ordered some delightful old fashioned pinnies for little girls with matching bloomers. Try as I might, I am yet to find any cute clothes for boys, so feel free to email with suggestions.
As you can tell our store will not only stock our funky range of fabric, it is be full of gifts and wares, as well as patterns, books, and ofcourse our large range of collectable vintage textiles.
Also very excited as our Shannon Lamden fabrics arrived yesterday. They are spectacular! I am hoping to have these on the website this week. I am so positive these will be so popular in our store that I am already compling my next order. My favourite is the white on red. As most of you can tell by our store fabrics, I just love red, especially the crisp contrast of red and white.
I am hoping to make a wall hanging of this beautiful fabric over the next few days, will make a wonderful display piece for our store ........... and afterwards will look fantastic hanging over our black and white couch!
We have received some classic damask style prints from Lecien as well as some very cuts children's style prints from Kokka of Japan.
Please don't forget to visit our store, we try to add new items daily. Not always easy with a bored 3 year old playing Duplo near my feet! www.funkyfabrixonline.com
