New Patterns in Store!

We have some wonderful new patterns in store this week. We have restocked some much loved Red Robin patterns, and wow, they have sold out so quickly! We had to reorder after only a few days. Plenty now in stock.

You will now also find Bettsy Kingston Patterns. Designed by local gal Benita McGovern, these are perfect for the beginner sewer - all just so cute. The Market Skirt has been very popular. Has a pattern for both mums and daughters.

Amsterdam Fabric Markets

Katrina Kaye of Amsterdam create wonderful bags, cushions and monsters out of amazing vintage fabric. (We proudly stock their goodies in our retail store)


We are very excited to be planning a European trip at the end of the year, with our 4 children.
We purchase a lot of our vintage fabric from Amsterdam and are just so excited to be visiting to source some more wonderful fabrics.
Amsterdam has fabric markets that open 7 days per week, as well as funky retro stores carrying original vintage fabric still on the bolt.
We are going to be in fabric heaven! Now, to work out how to get it all home!!

How beautiful are these brooches?? They are made by the lovely Rosey of I Can't Sew and are now in our retail store in Brisbane. They really are just so gorgeous! Thank you Rosey!
