Our order from Blink Designs has arrived. Blink is a Melbourne based company that uses a screen printed process to create their wonderful products.

We have in stock lovely hand printed purses (at top), hand printed Russian Doll wall plaques and simply devine Sew Your Own Kits! These kits, either for turtles or Russian Dolls, contain screen printed fabric, full instructions, toy stuffing and come in a lovely calico tie bag with design screen printed on the front.

These make lovely gifts, either as the kit or the toys made up.

Above it has been used for curtaining and bedding and looks just fab!

Moda's Sock Monkeys has now almost sold out, but we do have a little left in store. Once again a perfect choice if you want to create that fun retro look that your little one will love. Even little bubs love this happy fabric.

Ok I think I wrote in my last blog, about how hard it was to find cute boy's fabrics. Well we have more! Mind you, these fabrics are perfect for both little boys and girls.

New from Michael Miller, these fabrics have not yet been released here, but you can now find these on our website and in our retail store. I really love the Jungle Box fabric (below).

Scandinavian has always been big, but it is great to see new modern textiles bringing back that 60s Scandivian style. The Scandinavians have always been know for their design and textiles, and we just love seeing this style reflected in new contemporary fabrics.

Katrina Kaye in store!

We have some new gorgeous Katrina Kaye cushions and messenger bags in store.

Katrina Kaye is an English husband and wife team now living in Amsterdam, Holland.

They source the most wonderful vintage Scandinavian textiles and create wonderful pieces like these large scatter cushions and recycled army messenger totes.

These totes are created with vintage army bags, coupled with Scandinavian vintage textiles.

We only have a few left, they just fly out the door!

Jason hard at work...........

Thought I would pop on a photo of Jason, working hard in the store! This was taken before we changed the store around and moved a wall to make more room........so before Christmas.

I found the photo on my computer, whilst trying to find photos taken a while back of some of our vintage fabrics.

I have decided to list a few on ebay. www.stores.ebay.com.au/atomic-textiles to give us more room! We have so much vintage fabric, shelves and shelves in the store, boxes and boxes under our house, boxes and boxes in our packaging room at the back of the store, some in my bedroom, rolls in our spare room...........so thought we would clear a little out.

I am still finding it hard to part with my collection of Scandivanivian textiles, but you never know what I may list when I find the time.
